Restylane®

Restylane® is another innovative dermal filler available for our Miami  patients. Restylane® can augment the lips and reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. Composed of hyaluronic acid, Restylane® is a natural substance that is ideal for adding volume beneath deep creases and moderate wrinkles. Since Restylane® is made from a substance which occurs naturally in the human body, no allergy testing is required for treatment. During the procedure, injections are administered into the areas targeted for rejuvenation. This generally takes about 30 minutes, and patients can usually get right back to their daily routines immediately after treatment.

Restylane® Results

Patients should see the full results of Restylane® within a day or two after the procedure. There may be some swelling after treatment; however, this should dissipate within the first few days. The effects of Restylane® typically last six months or more, making it one of the longer-lasting dermal fillers available. Patients can maintain results of Restylane® with further treatment sessions.
