Juvéderm™

Like Restylane®, Juvéderm™ is made of hyaluronic acid, a human-based substance that can be used to fill in lines and wrinkles and add volume and fullness to the lips and face. Juvéderm™ injections in targeted facial areas provide effective facial rejuvenation and a smoother, more youthful appearance. Juvéderm™ distinguishes itself from many other dermal fillers in that the results typically last longer, in some cases up to a year. No allergy testing is required. Juvéderm™ also typically produces immediate results, which become even more apparent within the first few days after treatment. The procedure usually only lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. Although most people should qualify as candidates for Juvéderm™, pregnant women, those who are breastfeeding, and patients with weakened immune systems are advised not to undergo the procedure.
